AMD has just announced that they were soon going to launch its Ryzen 9 3900XT, Ryzen 7 3800XT and Ryzen 5 3600XT, adding to the highly appreciated 3rd generation Ryzen CPU family. These CPUs are specifically designed for enthusiasts interested in even higher performance levels; for example, here is what the AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT has to offer:
- Up to 4% higher performance in single-thread computing, compared to other AMD Ryzen 3000 models,
- As much as 40% higher energy efficiency than that offered by competitors.
AMD is going to start selling these CPUs on 7 July 2020, which is precisely one year after the Zen 2 premiere.

As of yesterday, motherboards featuring the AMD B550 chipset are available on the market, for optimized performance offered to most gamers with the support of PCIe® 4.0. AMD further announced a new AMD A520 chipset, which will appear on the market soon, targeted at less demanding users.
