Anti-Lag technology – how does it work?

After this brief introduction, it is now time to get to the components incorporated in the Powered by MSI PC. I will discuss each of them for you; after all, the reason you are here is to find out what you are buying.
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 – is it the best gaming CPU in 2019?
In my opinion, AMD Ryzen 5 3600 is the best gaming CPU in 2019, and I could say that authoritatively already at the time of its premiere. Why? Because this year, Intel will not be able to launch anything that could compete with AMD Ryzen 5 3600 within its price range.
The only move that could be a sort of an obstacle would be to strongly lower the price of Intel Core i5-9600K. But this hasn’t happened yet, and I doubt that Intel could actually be planning for it; if they had, the price cuts would have been announced at the moment of the new Ryzen CPUs premiere, so as to mitigate their impact.
The 6 cores and 12 threads, with maximum boost frequency at 4.2 GHz, larger cache and enhanced Infinity Fabric have given this model a serious performance improvement, compared to the previous generation. The 7-nm FinFET production process also provided for some energy efficiency; as a result, motherboards based on B350 and B450 chipsets can be used without any major problems.
You just need a BIOS update and you can enjoy a major power boost, particularly from the perspective of the first generation of Ryzen CPUs.
The case of a gaming computer with Ryzen 5 3600
A gaming PC featuring AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and RX 5700 is delivered in an MSI Gungnir 100P case. Because this case is fitted with one fan only, the builders decided to add one more at the front, so as to maintain proper air flow capacity.
There is a lot of space inside the MSI Gungir 100P and it should be really easy to install a longer video card or a liquid cooling system there. The case design is correct in itself, I have no significant remarks here. Actually, Actina has successfully eliminated the only noticeable disadvantage here, which is the missing fan at front.
MSI motherboard in a gamer’s PC with AMD
MSI B450 Gaming PLUS, a verified and recommended design by the dragon team, was chosen for the motherboard. Its power section is a twin of MSI B450-A PRO, a little less attractive in terms of design, so theoretically there is some space for saving in this configuration. I’m not saying I would recommend it because appearance matters, too, particularly with a transparent side panel.
For the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 in MSI B450 Gaming PLUS, you should expect a lean BIOS Lite, without the attractive graphics. In this way, it becomes more transparent and simple to use, even though you could perhaps expect something different. Anyway, finding A-XMP profiles for RAM modules or voltages is still easier than what Gigabyte has to offer, for example, so there are no good reasons for complaining.
Speedy RAM in a gaming PC worth PLN 4659
Because CPUs from AMD are famous for their preference for high frequency RAM sticks, for the PLN 4659 Gamer’s PC, Actina chose HyperX Predator 3200 MHz, latency CL16.
This is a good choice in this price range, optimizing the price to performance ratio. Higher frequency sticks are much more expensive and would require an increase of the list price of a complete gamer PC featuring AMD Ryzen 5 3600.
High performing video card from AMD
I find it hard to comment more extensively on Radeon RX 5700 because for my test, I got a reference model from MSI. As soon as a larger volume of non-reference products appear on the market, this will be replaced by one of these, and I will update the video card section of the PLN 4659 gaming PC description at the right time.
SSD from ADATA in the Gamer’s PC
The basic Gamer’s PC configuration with AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and RX 5700 features ADATA SU800 256GB (real 238GB). Of course you can have some more data storage added at a reasonable price, but you have to put this in your order remarks. A classic Toshiba P300 1TB is eagerly waiting for you.
SilentiumPC Vero L2 500W – power supply for AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and RX 5700
As appropriate for a mid-priced PC, the power supply of choice is the SilentiumPC Vero L2 500W, 80Plus Bronze certified. It offers more than enough power for this configuration, and the power supply did not show any signs of problems during the tests.
Flat cables are also nice to manage in the huge Gungir 100P, so I have no complaints here. Had it been a smaller case, I might have expected some modular option, but here there is enough space for unnecessary cables in the basement.

Following the discussion of components, it is now time for Ryzen 5 3600 with RX 5700 benchmark results. How many FPS are available in CS:GO? Can you play PUBG in Ultra mode? For an answer to these questions and more, look into the table below. In the course of testing, I checked each game in two resolution settings – after all, 1440p is gaining popularity.

The PLN 4659 PC’s performance in games appears to be quite good, and the machine is doing well even at 1440p. Most of you, I think, will choose 1080p and 144 Hz in this configuration, which seems to be a reasonable choice for me. To get 1440p, it would be good to add a bit of cash for an RX 5700 XT.
We should note that Full HD demonstrates the potential of the Ryzen 5 3600 CPU; with a better graphics accelerator, it could be easily released at a higher resolution. It also proves how far AMD has gone with the new architecture, first presented to the world on 7 July.

A Gamer’s PC featuring AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and RX 5700 is delivered with standard box cooling from AMD and an RX 5700 in the reference version Under game load, video card temperatures would reach 82°C, with ambient temperature at around 25°C. Like a typical ‘turbine’, it is not the most silent machine, yet this can all be made good with a proper headset.
Soon, one of non-reference RX 5700 models will be present in this PLN 4659 gaming PC, most probably from MSI to keep it consistent, so the level of noise produced by the entire PC will improve accordingly.
CPU cooling was practically drowned out by the video card fan sound, but it did not have a lot to do because the 6-core model from AMD works quite cool without OC.
The power supply is practically inaudible, too, as it is not too exhausted, and besides it is hidden in the basement, so not much sound can get out. Perhaps you can count on some added sound experience after installing your HDD because the slides in MSI Gungnir 100P do not have any special anti-vibration properties.
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and RX 5700 for gaming – is it a good setup for PLN 4659?
Compared to RX 5700, RTX 2060 performance is somehow insubstantial, particularly at 1440p where 8GB VRAM from AMD turns out to be powerful. However, the latter card has a longer market presence and is therefore a bit cheaper, particularly after the SUPER version was released.
Generally, the Actina configuration is well conceived. Still, today I can only give you a foretaste of the final version, in which one of non-reference Navi editions will appear.
